Share your Alumni Dinner photos

Brother Ed Memmott has posted 14 of photos from this year's Alumni Dinner and Ira Joe Fisher's poetry reading the next day.

There's one with this post. I think it was taken at one of the moments when Joey said (tongue firmly in cheek) "please, no more photos!"

And don't forget brother John Memmott's photo slideshow from the weekend. It's here, at his blog. Anyone else who wants to share photos can e-mail them to memmottmark@yahoo.com.

Thanks for creating this site, Mark. What would Little Valley be without the Memmotts? Another Machias I presume...

I missed this year's reunion, sadly stuck in Brooklyn, but will be back next year for the Class of '88's 20th (dear Lord, the years have passed).

Other sites of interest - www.oldecutlery.com - a couple from Texas (Rhonda grewup off Bucktooth Run) is trying to save the old Cattaraugus Cutlery factory. Alas to scant avail, given the polluted land (which the EPA has been cleaning up for free for over a year now). Wish them luck and maybe, some day, this historic building will be resurrected.

As for me I've been very busy writing - 2 more books coming out (one concerning WNY's connection to the creation and perpetuation of the belief in giants, due to early mound excavations) and the other based on my weekly column "The Borough of Writers" for The Brooklyn Eagle (www.brooklyneagle.com)

I may be reached at brad_lockwood@hotmail.com - and thanks to all for the tremendous support for my last book, "Tested XX: The Case Cutlery Dynasty."

Thanks again, Mark. I'm trying to keep Bridget out of trouble here in the big city. See you soon.
